Spa Etiquette and policies

To minimise street congestion and to aid our neighbours in exiting  their home, please park in our driveway.

Once your appointment has been confirmed you assume responsibility for your booking and accept the following terms and conditions:

A 50% non refundable booking fee applies, this can be transferred to a new booking should you give adequate notice to change or cancel your  booking  of no less  than 1 clinic business day (clinic open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and each second Saturday) or forfeited with less notice. 

Your booking is transferable to a friend or family member should you not be able to give notice as per this policy.  

If you have health conditions / concerns. Make contact to discuss  before booking.  

All terms apply for Gift Voucher bookings.

For your safety and my liability protection If you are a larger client over the weight of 130kg my treatment bed cannot be used safely as such am unable to take your booking.

To allow you to fully relax and enjoy your treatment, and for their safety, please do not bring children with you to your appointment.

Ringing phones disrupt your Peace & relaxation . Turn off your mobile phone or switch it to silent.

Most  treatments  will  require  you  to  get  changed  into  a  gown  and  remove  jewellery.  It  is  prefered  if  you  can  leave  these  items  at  home.  Please  take  off  all  necklace's,  bracelets  rings,  earings  and  watches.  

Vouchers  can  be  purchased  online or in clinic for a dollar value or treatment. Valid for a period of 3 years.   (unless  given  with  a  spabox  as  a  seasonal  promotion having  a  3  month  expiry.)   Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.   Should a service price increase a gap payment will be required.  Voucher value remains at dollar amount purchased.

The Skin Sanctuary at Brookwater is committed to protecting your privacy. I handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Because I collect health information as part of your treatment, I comply fully with these laws as a health service provider.

• Contact details (name, phone, email) — to confirm bookings, send reminders, and communicate with you
• Medical and lifestyle consultation information — this is sensitive health information collected with your consent. It forms part of your informed consent and ensures every treatment is safe and customised to your needs. It is completed via a secure online link and stored in your confidential client file
• Online store and voucher purchases (name, contact details, delivery address, order history) — to process and deliver your order and provide a receipt
• Website data — like most websites, this site may use cookies and analytics to help it function and improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings

I only collect information I genuinely need to provide your service.

I do not see or store your card details. Online payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers, and in-clinic payments are by cash, EFTPOS or PayID. Payment providers have their own privacy policies — please review them before use.

Your information is stored securely using technical and organisational safeguards, including secure systems, strong passwords with multi-factor authentication, and access limited to me only. Client records are kept only as long as required for your care and by law, then securely deleted.

Your details are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Information is only disclosed where you consent, where it is necessary to deliver your service (e.g. payment or booking providers), or where required by law.

In the unlikely event of a data breach likely to cause you serious harm, I will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

You will only receive marketing messages if you have opted in, and every message includes a simple way to unsubscribe, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time.

You may at any time:

• request access to the personal information I hold about you
• ask for it to be corrected or updated
• change your communication preferences or opt out of marketing
• ask questions or raise a privacy concern
